IS ARUN DELIBERATELY FALSIFYING ITS MINUTES?

All councils normally record minutes of their meetings for future reference, and at their next meeting councillors are asked to approve their accuracy.  Sometimes amendments are asked for, and the chairman then signs them off as an accurate record. However, in at least two recent instances at Arun District Council the minutes have been significantly and knowingly inaccurate.  But how much more of this is going on unnoticed? PAGHAM NEW HOUSES SCANDAL

RESIDENTS REJECT ARUN'S PROPOSED NEW PARK AT HOTHAMTON

DRAFT LOCAL PLAN HEAVILY CRITICISED FOR PUTTING HOUSING BEFORE ATTENTION TO FLOODING, INFRASTRUCTURE AND JOBS

SECRET ARUN PLAN S TO BUILD 15 STOREY TOWER BLOCK AT HOTHAMTON?

Arun District Council Chief Executive told the public in February that there were no plans or proposals for the Council and St. Modwen to build anything in the town.  This wasn't true because the previous December a Council committee had discussed a St. Modwen proposal to build a 15 storey tower block at Hothamton (at the top of Queensway) to house students from Chichester University.  Why was he keeping quiet about this?  What else was he keeping quiet about? REGENERATION BOARD RECOMMENDS ARUN SPENDS SAINSBURY'S 'TOWN CENTRE IMPROVEMENT' MONEY ON  FITTING OUT ITS OWN PROPERTY

FREE PARKING SCHEME FOR BOGNOR WILL CONTINUE BUT WILL COST THE SAME AS LITTLEHAMPTON YET PROVIDE LESS THAN HALF THE VALUE*                              

In spite of agreeing to review the current Bognor Regis free parking scheme in May of this year, Arun District Council has now refused to extend the ground level element beyond the miserly 66 spaces in Lyon Street.  For the same money Littlehampton has 382 spaces in 3 ground level car parks.  How do they justify this?  Click Car Parks for more information...  !!Update 19th October 2013!!
